Nidhi Shetye, Esq.
Nidhi Shetye, Esq., recently joined the Lambrou Law Firm PC. She received her undergraduate degree from the highly regarded and Top ranked, University of California Los Angeles in 2007. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics. While studying at UCLA, Nidhi was very active in campus life and was one of the founders of the Hindu Student’s Council.
Thereafter she returned to her native India to follow her father’s footsteps and attend law school in India. Nidhi successfully graduated from the prestigious Government Law College in 2011 with an LLB degree, (the equivalent of a US law degree, a JD). Soon after earning her degree she got her license to practice law in India. Her first job as a lawyer was as an associate attorney at the prestigious law firm of Kanga and Company in Mumbai. During her tenure at Kanga she worked extensively in the litigation department handling all types of complex litigation matters and even argued several cases in the highest court of that area, the Bombay High Court.
Nidhi then moved to the United States and attended the highly ranked Fordham Law School where she received a Masters of Law degree, LLM – Cum Laude in 2015. She then passed the New York Bar and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York shortly thereafter. Upon being admitted, Nidhi developed a reputation of being dependable, diligent, and committed to all her endeavors. Based on her reputation, in 2017, Nidhi was appointed to the Board of Directors of New York Women’s Bar Association. She currently serves as the co-chair of the litigation committee of the New York Women’s Bar Association. The New York Women’s Bar Association is devoted to improving the status of all women in society, assisting women lawyers in professional development, education and advancement, and promoting fair and equal administration of justice.
Since her admission to the New York Bar, Nidhi has earned a wide variety of experience which makes her perfectly suited for the complex, complicated and high stakes litigation practice at the Lambrou Law Firm.
After being hired she has shown great poise and has exceeded all expectations with her writing and litigation skills. Nidhi has also shown great empathy for our clients most of which are going through difficult times because of their injuries and losses. She has been complimented by her adversaries for her relentless pursuit of justice for the firm’s clients.
