Lambros Y. Lambrou has dedicated his legal career to helping the injured get Justice.  After his graduation from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Mr. Lambrou began his legal career at a once well-known law firm that concentrated in medical malpractice and personal injury, earning the position of partner in five years. He rose to that rank quickly by obtaining exemplary results at a young age.  His first $1,000,000.00 verdict in a hard fought wrongful death medical malpractice case was obtained when he only 28 years old.  Since then he has obtained millions of dollars for his clients through his hard work and extraordinary results. He has obtained outstanding results in hundreds of complex cases, including numerous multimillion dollar recoveries.

Mr. Lambrou focuses his practice on representing the injured and their families in various cases including cases that – cause death, accidents that cause catastrophic injuries, cases of medical malpractice, work site labor law accidents, construction accidents and personal injury cases. The cases he handles, inter alia, involve infant birth trauma, failure to diagnose cancer, failing to perform surgery properly, slip and fall accidents, auto accidents, accidents resulting in death, violations of civil rights and scaffolding collapses.

In his practice, Mr. Lambrou employs jury research techniques on the cutting edge of trial law, by conducting jury focus groups sometimes with the aid of nationally renowned trial consultants to gather essential information as to how a jury interprets and synthesizes important facts in any given case. These expensive and useful techniques employed by a small fraction of trial attorneys nationally, ensures great insight into the minds of juror deciding the outcome of important cases. In addition, these techniques enable the gathering of information that tailors the evidence that is elicited at trial to cater to jurors thinking.

“All attorneys research their adversaries and sometimes the presiding judge but they do very little to research the minds and thinking of jurors, the most important people in the courtroom.  The jurors decide the case, so I want to know how they think and how they perceive certain key facts.”

Most importantly, these techniques inevitably increase the size of the recoveries for his clients. One of his largest recoveries, after focus group research, was a $6,000,000.00 recovery in a motor vehicle accident where a plaintiff was severely injured when struck by a truck.  In another case, after using a focus group, he obtained a guaranteed $5.8 million payout for an infant in a birth trauma case against a hospital. In yet another case, concerning the wrongful death resulting from medical malpractice, the use of a focus group allowed him to gather vital information that was instrumental in convincing a jury that a Kings County woman’s death of lung cancer was avoidable despite the fact that she was a 45 pack year smoker and morbidly obese.

His outstanding abilities as a trial lawyer have earned him numerous awards and accolades over the course of his career. He was named Top 40 under 40 in 2012 by the National Trial Lawyers, He was named to the Rising Stars of Super Lawyers Magazine from 2010 to 2012. He was named as a Super Lawyer New York Metro Edition (2012-2015).  He was also named in the Top 1% of trial lawyers in Medical Malpractice and was invited into The National Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 trial lawyers by his peers.  Most recently, after a rigorous screening process he was selected as a Lifetime Charter Member of The Best Attorneys of America.

Mr. Lambrou believes that clients deserve both excellent legal representation and personal attention.  His dedication to them, his skills and resources mean spending significant money on each case if necessary as well as time with each client, preparing them for their testimony, and helping them through the most difficult point in their lives.

“I find it incredibly satisfying to represent people whose lives have been so affected by negligence and malpractice and help make a positive difference in the rest of their lives.”

His legal abilities and ethical representation of the injured has earned him the highest possible peer-reviewed rating of AV-Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell continuously since 2005.  Judges and fellow attorneys who have worked closely with him reviewed and evaluated his level of skill and integrity and agreed that he has earned the AV rating.
